This stylish owner of this studio apt wanted something different and went with the dark side. The wall separating the living room & bedroom was replaced with a half height glass panel with a dark blind for privacy, when needed. 
More cabinets were created in the living area, however that did not reduce the space but gave a more cosy feel. 
The slanted shoe rack at the bottom of the cabinet naturally became the feature of the living room.
